Rawell achieve CE Marking Accreditation

June 2017

Under the Construction Products Regulation 20111 (CPR), it is mandatory for manufacturers to apply CE marking to any of their products which are covered by a harmonised European standard (hEN) or European Technical Assessment (ETA).

The manufacturer of the products must obtain a factory production certificate to enable it to declare the performance of its products through a notified (accredited) organisation who regularly audits the manufacturers systems and procedures.

Rawell are proud to announce that we have achieved CE Marking Accreditation with notified certification body BTTG Testing and Certification Ltd for our prehydrated HDB membranes as a fluid barrier. Intended uses in accordance with the applicable harmonised technical specification include:

  • Construction of tunnels and underground structures
  • Construction of liquid waste disposal sites, transfer stations or secondary containment
  • Construction of solid waste storage and disposal sites
  • Construction of canals
  • Construction of reservoirs and dams.

You can find our certificates and declaration of performance (DoP) on the accreditations page of this website, or contact us directly for more information.

All of Rawell's HDB Membranes can be identified by their unique reference number. It's number can be found on the product CE label or declaration of performance (DoP) document which accompanies the product.
