RAWMAT® HDB : Type P Range
For below-ground structures, walls and roofing projects, the lining of small ponds and lagoons and the containment of fuels, oils and other hydrocarbons.
The most versatile product of the Rawmat® HDB range is used in the lining of lagoons. In Petro-Chemical Secondary Containment across bund floors and under tanks and in Structural Waterproofing when laid onto a compacted formation or in single side shutter or “pre-fix” applications against diaphragm walls and secant or contig piles.
The P1 series of membranes are produced in rolls of 1m width, 5m long, and can be handled manually.
The P2 series of membranes are produced in rolls of 2m width, 50m long, and lend themselves to swifter coverage.
RAWMAT® HDB Type P can be used for small ponds, and Type P2 for the lining of large ponds, lagoons and canals. RAWMAT® HDB Type P is laid with the woven geotextile in contact with the prepared substrate, and the non-woven geotextile uppermost.
In Structural Waterproofing the product is laid with the white non-woven side down on the ground or against the piled surface such that the concrete is poured against the black side.
In lagoon lining and Petro-Chemical applications it is laid with the black side down and the white non-woven side uppermost.
IN ALL APPLICATIONS IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE WHITE NON-WOVEN GEOTEXTILE IS PEELED BACK AND DOES NOT FORM ANY PART OF THE OVERLAP BETWEEN THE SHEETS.
A Structural Waterproofing membrane for the protection of slabs, walls and below ground roof structures from the ingress of water.
An exceptional liner in the Landscaping sector for ponds, lakes and canals.
The secondary containment system of choice by many Petrochemical companies for the secondary containment of fuels, oils and other hydrocarbons providing an Environmental Protection barrier for the control of contaminants.
This membrane consists of a prehydrated bentonite clay core sandwiched between a woven and non-woven polypropylene geotextile.
