Rawstrip is a preformed bitumen sealing strip which is non-hydrophilic it is placed between pours of concrete in the construction of petrochemical bund walls and used in the sealing of precast concrete sections used in ground drainage, sewage and subway construction.

Rawstrip is supplied in coils of different lengths dependent on the size, it requires heat or compression to seal the lengths together. In use the product will compress to half its original thickness.

Rawstrip is fixed after the application of Rawstrip Primer, surfaces must be dry and clean of all dust, dirt and foreign matter before priming. Primed surfaces must be touch dry before Rawstrip application. Application and storage temperature should be between 5°C and 35°C. Rawstrip Primer is available in 5 litre cans.
